As a Christian, I’m learning daily that I have little control over my world. If I pause, and ponder – I’m driven to humility considering that I am alive solely because God wills it so. And my day is so structured not because of my own choices, but more fundamentally because He has aligned the events of my day for His purposes.
The freedoms I enjoy are infinite in Him. I am free to choose to be humble before Him, to seek Him, to live to please Him. I am free to love Him and to choose love and to love the people whom He has created. I am free to work hard doing things that help encourage others and help build life and purpose.
At heart, the will of me, of who I want to be, is to do all I can to choose life for Jesus, to give my all for Him. I’m discovering that my life and my choices are not limited once I give my heart to Jesus – but lead to an unending playground of possibilities in Him.
