Schindler’s List

Few movies have impacted me more than Steven Spielberg’s “Schindler’s List”. My grandfather fought and was wounded in World War II defeating Nazi oppression and the effort to exterminate the Jewish race. I can only imagine through viewing films such as this one how truly appalling it was to live under those oppressive conditions. I am saddened that humans, who have been gifted oxygen and the freedom to breathe, can concoct such torture. It is evil. And like all evil, it will one day soon be defeated. How? Simply by a breath. Let humanity, in the name of Almighty God, claim the victory for Himself – the victory of life itself, life for all people, no matter a race, life for all mankind, to live in peace, breathing in the sweet air of the Lord. It is the fight and the celebration of precious life that moves me in this film. We need more expressions like this one.
