The Best Dad News

There is no dad like our Father in heaven. Sometimes that is hard to stomach, because we find often that our fathers on earth are flawed men, and our perception of God is shaped by our experiences with our biological fathers. But rest assured, our Father in heaven knows us even so, knows our condition, our experiences, our struggles, our weaknesses, our heartache and our sins – He knows us profoundly, and intimately, and He loves us so much that He will bear whatever the cost to bring us into His arms. We have found our Perfect Dad at last. And He will never abandon us. Rather, He will go to any length to draw us closer, and closer, and closer evermore to Him. And let us discover Him daily – that He’s younger in Spirit and more fresh than our biological fathers, and also the Best Friend we could ever hope for. Thank You, Jesus, for bringing us close to Your Dad!
