I’m learning today that if I am to have hope, I don’t truly need to puff that hope up with a kind of weakening grandiosity – to imagine the most sensational thing I could think of, and hope it will all come true. God loves it when we live in humble measure, in a way that doesn’t draw attention to ourselves. To bank a dram of common hope in the care of the Lord. Let me live in a way that draws attention to Jesus on the cross.
