Loneliness Lets Go

I have to remind myself that I have the power to choose not to be lonely. Even though I may be away from friends and strangers and all other people, my loneliness disappears the moment I seek the Lord. In my soul, in the deepest part of me, Jesus Christ makes Himself a friend in me, confirming who I am to the core. He’s there if I want Him. He is ready to be not just my Lord, but also my Best Friend. And in Him, He’ll teach me how to be a friend to others, even when I have been hurt, or have hurt, them.
