The Flag Held High

I am thankful that God is in control, and that in this country, I am free to fly my banner of freedom. Let me remember that America exists solely out of grace, and that our freedoms are possible ultimately because of Jesus, of His victory on the cross. America wasn’t suppose to happen, couldn’t happen, in the context of an old system. But because of Jesus, the worth of the individual – the grace to let him live freely, pursuing his dreams – is possible. I am thankful to be an American!
