Summer Rain

I woke up the other day and opened my window, and heard the summer rain falling on the ground. It was intense. The rainfall filled the depressions in the ground as it landed on the metal roofs and poured down the gutter pipes. The depressions became great puddles, and the drops of rain struck the puddles like thousands and thousands of musical notes wishing to help heal the land. The rain soothed my ears, and I breathed soothingly, and got ready for the day. I hope there is rain in heaven, because the rain is living medicine. May today bring the rain, that it would help heal.
