Set Free

Jesus tells me in His Word that I will know the truth, and the truth will set me free. This is good news. There is no other place in this world that will, besides Jesus and His Word. And what a promise! Is there anything more desirable than the freedom of Jesus? Than freedom with Him? For a man who has been in prison for a very long time, the thought of wiggling my toes in the sand on a beach by the aquamarine surf, with the sun shining down on me and my friends and the palm trees, it’s worth it to give my heart to Jesus, to trust Him with everything I have, to take Him at His Word, and to follow Him wherever that may lead. Which is to Him, in paradise.
