My hope is that with my son, who is nine, I can be a generous dad. Generous with my love, my faith, and hope. My son is loving and wise, and a good kid all around. And what I’m learning – learning deliciously – is that the most generous thing I can do as a father is to give my son to the Lord. David is not my mine, not at the core. He belongs to Jesus. I pray this holiday season I can do that. To remember that he and I and his mom can be mobile factories of good love that please the King.
