Getting Lost Today

Let me today not live my life to suit the world or myself, but let me make good choices that will bring me closer to Jesus. Let me lose the world, for Him. I want to be that kind of guy who is willing to let go of the world so that I can discover my King, because His live is great, and He is kind. The world tries to convince me that Jesus is harsh and cruel and judgemental. But that’s not what I find when I go to Him, when I lose myself for Him. When I do, I gain life,  and my soul, and true happiness. I pray today that in some small way, I can find His everlasting, overwhelming, unmitigated, all-encompassing joy.
