Choose Good

I do not have much control over the world, over what happens with countries and wars and whatnot. I have little influence over the behaviors of the people in my life, truly. The day unfolds with many events beyond my scope to impact or change. And I want it this way. The only true super power I have is the choice to do good. Let me make that choice, then. In waves and cascades. Let me make my mark on my barista, my boss, my best friend, my brothers. If I can move my world just a little, let me move it today a thousand miles toward Home. I choose to do good.
