When I am Afraid

The world is crazy. Wars. Violence. Destruction. Hatred. Death. It would be easy to give into despair. But I don’t have to. There is a way to be at peace: To trust in Jesus. To draw near to Him. There’s nothing better than to discover the overwhelming flood of peace and joy in surrendering to the throne of the King. To recognize and to yield to Him, to give up control of my life, and believe that He is good, and a rewarder for those who seek Him. It doesn’t get any better than to trust Him at His word. I yield today to You, Lord Jesus!
