The Gift of Service

I’m encouraged by the model of the Lord in how He came not to be served, but to serve. There’s something very special about going underneath others and lifting them up. To have the attitude of meeting the needs of others first before my own. I believe in heaven we will fulfill this perfectly, and I cannot imagine what that will be like, how beautiful that harmony will be. My hope for today is that I can strive for that heart – that attitude of service, to strive to be closer to Home. Amen.
