Peace on the Horizon

Jesus tells me in His Word that in this world I may face hardship and tribulation, but not to be alarmed, for He has overcome the world. What incredible news. In Him, I can have peace, and look forward to an everlasting, permanent peace. The thing that bridges the present day to that future one is simply my humble choice to hope. And, to wait patiently. So Lord, help me today to hope in You, and to be patient. Help me to trust You a little bit deeper if I face something hard today. Even if I do, I have peace in You. Amen.
