From Death to Life

Taking a moment to acknowledge how thankful I am to God that all He requires of me to live eternally is simply to believe in Jesus. I’m reading this in John 5:24. This humble requirement from God is different than any other religion, which often demands that I would do, or perform, or follow a set of man-made rules to earn my salvation. In Jesus, all He asks is that I believe – to be clear, to believe that He is God’s only Son, and that God raised Him from the dead. I’m thankful that He is a loving, gentle and kind God. I give this day to Him.
