I am reminded this morning that to move mountains, it may not be that I need mountain-moving faith, but something much smaller. Maybe only ever the faith of a mustard seed. I find that God rarely requires more of me than that. It’s the small, humble acts that get the attention of our King. But the boasting, pompous attention-seeking showboating that comes in the pursuit of all things for the world, rarely do. If I want to be closer to God, let me be and act small. Let me come to Him in humility, knowing my place of smallness, and that He is very big. Lord, I give this day to You.
