About

Ecclesiastes tells us that there is nothing new under the sun. Our efforts at best may not be new, but they can offer renewal. At heart, the story of an artist is to help encourage, and to let us know that we are not alone. There is a purpose to life. Our lives have meaning and significance. It matters to God what dreams we carry, and in what direction we set our sails. I’m learning that to be alive means that we are all in the same boat together, sharing the experiences of life. There is nothing better. There’s nothing better than to know that when we suffer, we are not alone. We are loved. Though things fall apart, and unravel, our Lord delights in knitting something new. To be woven by Him, by Jesus, is to become part of His tapestry. He alone is the Artist. And long ago, He set sail for this land to weave us into the sails He raises for home.
