I know this world is full of chaos. I suppose it’s always been that way. Turmoil in Gaza, in Ukraine, in Korea, China, Africa, America – everywhere. It’s painful and alarming to turn on the news or read the local paper. What is there to hope in?
Someday, Jesus is coming back. And He’s bringing with Him His kingdom. And as bad as it is right now, the polar opposite will be true of heaven. The greatest good, the most unimaginable and blessings await us. The Bible tells me that these afflictions we’re experiencing are brief and momentary (though it doesn’t seem like it).
So let’s have hope – not that we would somehow change this world, but to let us be changed by the world to come.
