Patient in Affliction

I am reminded that if I am being tested today, it is not without purpose. There is at hand the love of the Lord guiding me. If I suffer today, only something better, and wholesome, and more loving will come from it. Because God is good, and because He loves me and will never leave me, I can trust Him. That He knows His plan. His plan is good. This day is a new day in His plan, one leading me and us all to eternal life, to perfect joyful living, with Jesus.
