Being Courageous Today

I’m realizing that the only way to have courage is to face courageous things. That if I want to grow in it, I might have to be stretched a little. A warrior does not become one without a battle to fight. If his courage is to be tested at any length, then the greater the test, the greater his courage. Right now, putting on my socks and shoes is quite courageous. But a Hobbit cannot live his brave adventure only in the Shire. No, he’s got to face the mountains, and the valleys too. Then Lord, let me be brave today, for You!
