Jesus’s Return

I don’t know the future. The only thing I do know is that Jesus is coming back. I don’t know when. But the Bible tells me to be ready and on the alert. For the day and the hour are unknown. To be ready then is to strive to live a life that is pleasing to the Lord, to strive to serve Him in what I say and do. I may not get it right all the time, but I want my heart to be in the right place, to be correctable and humbled. I want to be small man, and to know lovingly that God is very big. If I can learn through wisdom the path of living in the shelter of the Most High God, I’ll be at home in heaven when Jesus has His glorious day on earth. Lord, I give this day to You. Amen.
