A City on a Hill

If I fail today, if things go awry, let me not forget that the Lord uses broken people to do His will. Moses killed a man, and struggled to talk. David fell. Paul persecuted. Abraham lied. There is no perfect saint in the Bible besides our King. Still, God used them. Let me remember that living for Jesus means accepting the fact that I don’t have to be perfect to be effective. I just want my heart to be in the right place. Lord, this day is Yours. And I am Yours, too.
