I Want to be Grown

I would hope, deep down, that my heart would be set not on achieving great things for God, and certainly not in my own strength – but to have an attitude to be grown by Him. To be submissive, and yielding, my ear bent low. And in that surrender, to realize thankfulness. That every moment is a gift from the Lord. I want my life to matter. I realize it matters most when held by His kind, merciful, gracious and loving hand. I give this day to You, Jesus. Amen.
