Calm Faith

God calls me to share my faith with others – to share His good news. The good news is life in Jesus, that just believing in Him gives a soul eternal life in heaven with Him. I want to pause, and reflect, and stir my heart to think how I can share this good news in a way that encourages others, and in a way that does not bring glory or honor to me, but to Jesus. To have a calm faith, verbalized by my character, not by empty words. Jesus is so great, so loving, so powerful – my role may be only to pull up a fender, or coil a line; I’m on this journey across the sea on a vessel far beyond my scope, each of us living out our roles, as our Lord calms us by His mercy and grace.
