Governed

There is a simplicity in the love of the Lord, in how He draws us to Him. Simply put, we let go, and give up, and give in. In a beautiful surrender, our lives turn from self-inflicted disasters to careful beings, cared for by the grace and love of the Lord. In that surrender, our lives become governed by the cross. Meaning, what we admit we cannot do in abject hopelessness, Jesus does for us. He does it all. And in effect, we are saved. Eternally. Jesus is a fine, fine Governor, one to trust, to be sealed in. I pray today I can surrender to Him.
