Life in the Now

Sometimes I get caught up in projecting the inertia of my life far into the future, into the grand possibilities of what truly could happen, if things worked out for the best. The Lord tells me to please go there, and dream away – but to do so with my will set on taking care of business in the here and now. Let me live life for today, but me steer my boat in the direction of my tomorrow dreams. Hope takes the seed of what is, and takes it farther, imagining the best of what is to come.
