Giving of the Heart

I believe the best and most precious gift a soul can give is the costliest, too. God warns us to guard our hearts, and also to choose carefully when we decide where to give it. Our thoughts and actions follow where our hearts reside. Our treasure, too. Then let me give my heart first and foremost to the Lord. Let my treasure be found in Him. Let me reside where my heart chooses to reside, where there is ultimate and eternal reward: in Jesus. If He alone has my heart, I will have everything. I give my heart, and this day, to You, Lord Jesus.
