Peace and Safety

I don’t know of anywhere else a man can discover peace and safety outside the love of the Lord. What one might declare it so by pursuing a false god is truly dishonest. It isn’t possible. I’ve tried. No, the only lasting healing is found solely in the arms of Jesus, who not only fills me up with peace, and safety, but also with the hope of eternal life. This gives me great comfort, that one day soon I will rest from my toil and striving, and then on that day and into forever the only reality will be what is true now: Jesus is King. Life, therefore, is possible.
